Changes to my study programme

Imagen
In 2015 I began studies for a Bachelor of Sound at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile in Santiago, Chile. I found the curriculum to be bad mainly because it was too difficult as it had too much curricular load. The first two years the contents of the classes were related to Mathematics, Physics, Electricity and electronics. While the last years have focused much more on my specialty with classes such as: musical harmony, musical production, instrumentation arrangement, architectural acoustics. We also had many electives to choose from such as cinema, volleyball among others. Due to this difficult study plan, I postponed my studies for 1 year due to the emotional burden along with the pandemic. However, I would have liked to finish my degree as soon as possible. The facilities in the faculty building were appalling, deplorable, and sad. I remember that we did not have a place to recreate during non-study hours, we did not have a place to have lunch, the elevator always had p...

Time travel to the future

If I could travel to the future, I would like to go to the Amazon rainforest of Brazil in the year 3000. I would like to be in that sector of the world, because it would be one of the most beautiful places that would remain on the planet, since pollution for a thousand more years would have wiped out a large part of nature, animals and minerals.  A good refuge would be to stay in one of the most hilly, beautiful places that is closest to nature, with a wide range of animals, oxygen and plants. I would stay in the jungle because it would be a reunion with the most beautiful things that nature and the strength of elemental things have created. He would have to learn to hunt and survive only with the resources that nature provides and he would be very happy away from all the technological and urban interventions that would be happening around the world.  Technology advanced to a supreme level where society was blind and trapped in a virtual world where emotions expired, the terro...

A job you would like to have in the future

Since I was very little, I was always interested in the idea of working in the world of chess. I started to play and study this beautiful art at the age of 3. Later, thanks to my parents, I had the opportunity and privilege to participate in championships since I was 6 years old. I would like to share ideas of chess with students in a chess club of a rural area where people do not have such easy access to participate in this art and thus, contribute to the development of the analysis in the different games and the relationship that this thought has with the decisions of life. I want to do this work so that people can practice their critical thinking in problematic situations and have the ability to solve them. For this work it would be necessary to continually study the different forms and styles of chess games. For this it would be useful to analyze books and famous games made by the great masters of chess history. I would be very happy and grateful if different people could im...

Your favorite series, show, or movie

One of my favorite movies is unexpected miracles or also known as the green mile. It is a 1999 American fantasy drama film, written, produced and directed by Frank Darabont and performed by Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan. This film was based on a book called "Death Row" written by Stephen King and tells the life of Paul Edgecomb, who being an old man tells his story as a "death row" officer in Cold Mountain Prison, in the state of Louisiana, during the 1930s. The former officer has among his prisoners a character with powers supernatural, which is able to heal people and perform other types of miracles. During the course of history, quite stark aspects can be distinguished about the reality of prisoners in the United States and the transformation of the perspective of the officer with respect to the death row inmate whose role as a supporting actor led him to obtain awards for his incredible role. The first and only time I saw her was with my brother Patri...

An artist that inspires you

For me, David Bowie marked a before and after in the perspective of music and performance art. The fact of continuously changing his public figure in different ways throughout his musical career, is something that influenced too many artists in the world and the concern of his image as a means of communication, generated in me a fact that went unnoticed, and It is how the costumes, makeup and staging manage to influence both a musical and visual work, allowing to explore other sensations and experiences more enriching than just listening to good music.

Post 2 - The best holiday ever or the best concert ever

Imagen
In October 2019, I had the opportunity to attend one of my favorite concerts which was performed  by the English band MUSE on the athletic track of the national stadium.  This band represents concepts of rock, futurism, opera rock and pop and together  with their latest album "simulation theory world"  they created an environment in the public which was not so massive,  but that was not an impediment to the feeling of futuristic recreation.  I remember having been with friends in the court sector and my brother  Miguel and Daniela were in the vip court sector.  The concert was very energetic and the opening band sounded very bad Kaiser Chiefs,  maybe they had a regular day. I remember when muse interpreted the song Hysteria,  I had the intention of jumping over the fence because of the euphoric emotion  that arose within me, while that song was playing, several people fainted  and guards helped the resuscitation.  A...

A country I would like to visit...

A city that I would like to visit is Huautla de Jiménez,  which is located in the country of Mexico. Latin America.  Which is part of the municipality of Huautla de Jiménez and the District of Teotitlán,  within the Cañada Region. Since 2015, it has been part of the Magic Towns program. This is mainly due to its psychedelic tourism due to its association with María Sabina,  a Mazatec healer who used psilocybin mushrooms in her shamanic rituals. Regarding the healing of people through the use of psychedelics,  it must be said that it is a tool for the perception of life  and many times it can heal the wound in our being due to materially social and political causes,  this experience allows us to enter into the most sincere and meaningful things.  I believe that visiting that place in conditions of beautiful reasons and fruits of life  can be found very revealing experiences.
